Starting Nursery

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic we have had to cancel our Nursery Parent Meeting.

We have uploaded a presentation (please see below) introducing you to our nursery teacher Miss Abbott and containing information about the Early Years Foundation Stage at St Agnes’ and useful information that will support the transition into Nursery. The presentation is password protected. If you have not yet signed up to receive emails from the nursery please email stating your child’s full name, the password for the presentation will then be emailed to you.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the school is currently closed to parents so we need to make changes to how we proceed in the present climate. We are currently revising our induction schedule for children due to start nursery and reception (EYFS) in September 2020.

Our usual transition arrangements will have to change, so we are setting out contingency plans to ensure a positive transition to our nursery and reception classes. As the majority of children will potentially transition from home having experienced a significant period of social distancing, greater consideration will be given to our curriculum and our ways of working. Once we have contact details for new parents we will email you. In the meantime click on the links below for curriculum information and frequently asked questions.

School milk is free for children under the age of five. If you would like your child to receive milk you will need to register them here.
